Upcoming GRSEC Events:

2021-22 General Meeting Schedule:  General Meetings are held the second Saturday of the months of September through May. They are held at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Carson Park. Seating will be limited to 50 so the chairs can be spread out, masks are required, disposable masks are available at the front entrance and hand sanitizer will be available. The Genealogy Open Labs are suspended until further notice.

January 8, 2022, 1 p.m. – Program: Jodi Kiffmeyer, Chippewa Valley Museum’s Archivist. She will provide an overview of resources available to researchers and share samples of books, letters, diaries, maps, and other artifacts of interest. Doors open at noon, genealogy help is available in the Museum library from 12 to 1 p.m.

February 12, 2022, 1 p.m. – Book sale beginning at 12:30 and ending one-half hour after the general meeting ends. Approximately 100 books will be available for purchase at $1.00 or $2.00 each. The general meeting will be at 1:00 in the Chippewa Valley Museum; the genealogy library will not be open prior to the February meeting.
